The property was quaint old world classic Venice charm. The common areas and our rooms were immaculate. Enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others and also stay there again. The complimentary evening tea and pastries were a nice touch and it was convenient to have access to a fully stocked bar with very reasonable pricing. The location was the BEST! It was safe and centrally located with easy walking to the main canal, restaurants, attractions, and shopping. I contacted the hotel by email a few times prior to arrival with questions and received immediate detailed responses each time. Upon arrival by water taxi, the bellman was waiting at the taxi drop off point to pickup our luggage and escort us to the hotel. The front desk staff was always pleasant and attentive as were all the staff we encountered.

Toilet not working
The room’s toilet did not work on part of 3 days. So we had to go to a rest room on another floor, at times in the middle of the night. When I asked the hotel to do something for us, the hotel made no concession for this lack of basic service.

I loved the elegance of the hotel...It reminded me of the way hotels used to be....absolutely beautiful. The staff was so accommodating, from the bellman (Marco) to the consierge. Thank you, we had a wonderful stay.

Lovley little hotel about a 2 mins walk from St Marks Sqaure, which made exploring the area very easy. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby too. Room was spacious and quiet. Breakfast was nice and staff were very welcoming and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The location of this hotel is perfect, close to all the main tourist sites, restaurants, shopping and water taxis. The hotel is spotless and we felt very safe there. And the breakfast option is quite good, too. The only disappointment is that we didn't have access to an elevator as our room was located in their annex building. Although the hotel offers assistance with luggage to/from the hotel room, it was a bit of a hike up the stairs after a full day of walking. Otherwise we would definitely recommend this hotel.

What a fantastic hotel. We had a personal issue that we were dealing with when we arrived at the hotel and the reception staff were absolutely incredible to us. They were so kind, patient and professional and helped us to figure out a solution. Absolutely amazing people. The room was absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and really comfy bed. We were right in the heart of everything Venice. Loads of places to eat close by and loads of things to see. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast in the dining room. Excellent selections and very reasonable. We will stay at no other hotel in Venice except Hotel Montecarlo. Again, you could not ask for better or nicer people than everyone at the hotel

The great location and friendly staff made this hotel a good pick. The upgraded room was in the “Annex” which was on the third floor with no elevator. Only problem was there was no shower water at 9:00 am.
