I paid for 4 star hotel, it was 2 star. Shower water was not draining properly, after I turn the light off mosquito and tick bug start attaching, I am still scratching my body. Hotel didn’t have pool, they said if you want swim we can drive you to another hotel and after you done we return you back!

Easy booking (Hotel.com) and excellent communication before arrival. Called the hotel when we arrived at the airport to arrange transfer to the hotel, reception was quite abrupt but the driver was fabulous, friendly and attentive. Reception dismissive and not particularly welcoming. There was a tray of croissants, water and juice available at reception which were there for guests and which we really appreciated but we weren’t actually invited to have any. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable but there was no chair, only one bedside cabinet, no dressing table, no side lights, no fridge, no heating until 15th October. There was a small table, hanging rack and shelf for the cases. The room was cold when we first arrived but it did warm up. The shower room was pristine clean and very nice. Poor noise insulation from rooms above. The reception was again rather curt on the morning of departure but again the transfer to the airport was excellent. The hotel was well priced compared to many others in the location, it served us well and the location was good but the reception could have been more friendly.

The hotel is close to the airport and the bus to Venice is close by. My room was on the small size compared to the US (expected), but it was spotlessly clean and had everything you need, except ... One warning, the hotel does not have an iron, so you will have to wear your wrinkled clothes. Is this not a thing in Europe?

Claudio's service was very bad, they took our passports and gave them back to us in a very rude way, also the treatment was very bad, the room smelled bad, it was unhygienic, I would not recommend this hotel.

Decent hotel
The man on the reception desk was pretty blunt and not overly friendly. The rooms were ok for comfort but very clean. The pool was lovely and the pool staff were very nice but it’s mandatory to wear a swimming cap in the pool or your can’t go in which was odd and a bit off putting. The breakfast included was excellent. We got a call at 9pm saying we were too loud and to keep it down when we were literally just sat on the beds chatting. So either they have zero insulation in their walls or it was another room. Either way, kinda of wrecked the experience for us. 15 euros each for a shuttle to the airport which is literally a 2 minute drive is a bit on the extortionate side. No onsite restaurant for dinner do they shuttle you to a place nearby.. worst lasagna in Italy.
