Wonderful location and amazing breakfast, but there was no warm water during our entire stay. They knew of this before we checked in but did not give us advance notice. They were kind enough to give us a discount on our trip, but that was a big issue as our family was coming off a Seven day dolomite hike and very much looking forward to a warm shower!

Laconda La Corte is a Quaint, boutique Hotel on a canal a little off the beaten path, which gives you a nice reprieve from the crowds. It is a nice, about equidistant walk to the Rialto Bridge or Saint Marks Square. Staff is very friendly and attentive and the restaurant was very good. We enjoyed our time there very much!

NO HOT WATER DURING OUR STAY

Great location and breakfast. The room was ok and both beds were comfortable. AC in the back bedroom did not work. THERE WAS NO HOT WATER. The freezing cold showers were ridiculous.

We had a great stay! The breakfast was delicious and very friendly staff. And even tho they didn’t have hot water for showers they did give us 20% off. Super cute place and far enough away from hustle and bustle.

Hotel was very nice. Breakfast was included. Spacious room. Keep in mind you'll need to use a water taxi to get here. Otherwise it's a 30 minute walk from the train station. Very friendly staff. Great location.

This hotel is very well located near Venice's sights. You can stay here and get to Piazza San Marco in 10 minutes for example. It's also a 10 minute walk to the Alilaguna stop to come from the airport just don't bring heavy luggage. The room is great with comfortable beds and nice venetian floor. Bathroom is great and features a small shower but that's normal in Italy. Breakfast was first class and had good food and filled you up ready for sightseeing while being free. Be sure to indulge in the croissants as they're some of the best I've ever had. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only problem was that their water heater broke down when we were there which made it hard to shower but hopefully they fix it. Would have no problem staying here again if I'm in Venice.

Hotel was lovely nice court yard friendly staff We had no hot water and execpted this wasnt the hotels fault They did however offer a 20% refund which i excepted but they said i needed to do this through hotels.com Hotels.com have been great but the hotel aren’t responding which means the refund cant be mad Very disappointing as the manger assured me this would be granted

Nice building and location, but they could drastically improve the experience they give their guests. Nearly every interaction with the staff at the hotel was awkward. We had no hot water for the 4 days we were there and we were told, sorry, the building is old. When we followed up after days of having to wash ourselves in the sink, they offered to make it right with a meal from the hotel restaurant. We accepted this offer in good faith and this was a bad decision. The meal was awkward from the beginning - making us feel unwelcome. They made us poorer quality meals than described on the menu - one of which was undercooked seared pork, which I sent back. I spoke with the manager who just apologised, but continued to make us feel bad for even being there. We spoke with friends who stayed at other hotels and they had staff who were excited to share information about what to do, see and eat on the islands. If you're wanting a hotel with good hospitality, or even running hot water, definitely go elsewhere.

We loved this beautiful unique property and it had access for water taxi pick up/drop off. Spacious family suite and decorated nicely. Only reason it was not all 5 stars for all categories was there was no hot water. We understand it was out of their control and they were beginning to repair it but it was an inconvenience after flying overnight.

Two things you expect from a hotel at a minimum: clean comfortable bed and hot water. For the duration of our three night stay we had no hot water. We resorted to boiling kettles and using the waste basket as a washing bucket. Young man who checked us on had no sense that this was a significant issue. On checkout the hotel told us to get a refund from our booking agent. Hotels.com told us that the hotel refused any discount or refund. Good location and cute hotel. But they knew about the issue before we arrived and did not inform us.

Check-in was indicated for 9AM which was too good to be true. Room was ready at standard time of 2PM. Stained walls noted, moderately comfortable mattress. Otherwise slanted floor added to the overall charm of the room. Great staff.
