This is a nice hotel that is difficult to find at first. There is a restaurant by the same name near the hotel location where Google maps took me. We couldn't locate it so we went inside the restaurant thinking it was connected but the hostess let us know it wasn't and told us how to get to it. The hotel is only minutes from the Rialto bridge, so you are fairly close to shops, souvenirs and restaurants. The staff is friendly but they are not always at the desk. In fact, they were absent more times than present so if you need something or have a question, ask when you see them. The staff let's you know when you arrive that they won't always be around. They do housekeeping daily if you leave before 10am. They had your basic toiletries, like shampoo and soap, a towel warmer and the towels were great. Hot water and heat worked just fine until our last morning there. It seemed like the shower had only tepid water and our heater stopped heating. The room had a mini fridge, too. The hotel felt safe. In Venice, everything is walking distance. The train station was 20 minutes while St. Marks is 18 minutes.

Room was just lovely! Staff so friendly/helpful, but onsite only until 9pm. No elevator, but if you check in b4 9pm, stall will assist with luggage.

Convenient location close to Rialto bridge. It is quite hidden with narrow passages to get into. Reception friendly however shared between two hotel properties.

I liked the location, the customer services, the room was big enough for 3 people. The negatives were that my brother got picked poket by the small alley. It was dark. The beds wete a bit too hard for my back. I would still go back even with the negative aspects

Great local hotel in Venice - highly recommended!

Lovely little hotel, really clean, comfortable and amazing location. Had a few additional comforts such as tea/coffee and a fridge in the room, which makes such a difference. Housekeeping every day, professional staff and even offered a discount at the restaurant next door. We really enjoyed our stay there and will stay here again next time we're in Venice.

The room was nice and big. The air conditioning was turned off but they gave us a fan. The room was warm. Even though they say they have AC they turn it off so it may not be available.

It was not easy at first to find the property. We had to ask around. It turned out we needed to go through narrow alleys to get there. The staff were nice and helpful. The only issue was that they were not longer able to turn on the AC passed certain date. They cited City Regulations. The only choice we had left was to open the window, and with that welcoming the mosquitoes. Certainly they had some repellent slices that can be connected to the outlet, but a fan would have been a better solution. Overall was a good experience but I feel that the property advertised on Expedia is a little misguiding.

Venise et punaises de lits

Au premier matin, ma petite fille etait couverte de boutons et jai trouvé des punaises de lits dans mes draps. Le changement de chambre n'a pas, évidemment, changé quoique ce soit au fait que notre séjour a été ruiné, et que nous ayons dû laisser la quasi totalité de nos vêtements ! La chalbre m'a coûté de lordre de 150€ la nuit. Cet hotel ne devrait plus etre sur votre site! Impossible dajouter des photos !

Room was nice with a good view of the canal. We were on the top floor with very narrow stairs…..no handrail from the first to the second floor. There was no elevator. Service in the room was good, however our shower didn’t drain after each usage. Quiet hotel.

We were charmed to find this quaint hotel. The staff was fabulous— from check in to the cleaning folks who accommodated our varied schedule. The room and amenities of the hotel were simple but elegant. Our room featured the most romantic view in Venice: a tiny boat landing on a tiny canal, fling the Rialto fish market. characters yes, you hear the Guttery Venetian accent of the workers starting at 5:30 AM as they set up their tables to display their fresh seafood. Since our window opened to the market, we cannot deny there were sounds to wake to. But if you want a look at the working side of Venice, in addition to the magical side, this place cannot be beat.

Great location!

The Locanda Poste Vecie was in a great location, not far from Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Square. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but we were only there to sleep, so much to see and do in Venice!
