I had a wonderful stay at the Clock Tower Inn and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The property is truly beautiful, with a stunning atrium that gives the hotel a warm, charming atmosphere the moment you walk in. It feels authentic and a bit historic in the best way, which made the stay feel special rather than just routine. Breakfast was a real highlight — the homemade waffles were delicious, and it was such a nice way to start the day. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and am already looking forward to coming back. This is definitely a place I would recommend to friends and family.

The room was spotless! The grounds were well kept/groomed. Weekday breakfast was a bit wider spread than other standard continental breakfasts. Beds AND pillows were fantastic for both soft and hard mattress sleepers!!!! Never judge a book by its cover, considering it was off the freeway and never heard of (grew up out here) this place was a great, impressive reference. We are coming back for sure!

Room was old, dusty and smells like molds. Door hinges are really rusty. When you open the closet it smells bad like old clothes from 1940’s. Bed was not comfortable I feel back pain in the morning. Bottom line is I don’t know why they still operate this hotel. It needs a major renovation or shut it down.

The staff was very attentive and courteous, and the room was cute and lovely, but a few of the amenities weren’t very good, like a difficult shower to use and a bed that wasn’t attached to the bed frame causing it to be loud.

Very clean. I liked the CA mission style decor. The bed and pillow were soft. I really enjoyed it. It was close to everything downtown. Walking distance to great restaurants and lots of thrift shops and other retail, the mission, and the Ventura pier.

The Location was perfect. The staff were all very nice and friendly and helpful. the proximity to downtown Ventura was great, within walking distance to numerous restaurants, bars, shopping and activities. Only 3 blocks from the beach at surfers point and walking to beach restaurants and bike rentals.
