Clocktower Inn---Outdated Facility
Paint can not cover up the fact the hotel is outdated. The bathroom was from the 1960s. With no grab bars, taking a shower felt dangerous. Repair of the bathroom tiles had been sloppy. Ventilation was poor. Chair comfort was bad. Saturday/Sunday breakfast was OK/satisfactory. Monday breakfast was minimal. We would not stay again.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and quiet considering it is right next to a park and restaurant. Very close to shopping and dining. Their breakfast was good as well.

Krystin (I think) at the front desk was very lively and fun. She gave us dinner recommendations and made checking in a delight. The only complaint I have was the toilet and shower were very low and not made for anyone over five feet tall

My first time being in Ventura. I mostly came for an Anime Convention and hotel was near that event. After a long drive to Ventura. I had a staff that was helpful and was guiding us about the parking guidelines. For the people asking if it’s truly free. It’s indeed free parking. You’ll get a paper to put in your front car stating you’re staying in the Hotel and that you’re legally allowed to park there for the night. You can park in the side roads of their property, their parking spots, and their reservation middle spots. Just know it’s pretty tight if you plan to park in the middle of the reservation middle spots. After getting help at the front desk. We got our rooms to stay in. I won’t lie about the Beds. We got Two Double Beds (Classic 2 Double) and it wasn’t that comfortable trying to sleep with two people on one Double Bed. One of our big criticism as a family was that the shower was too small for us to shower in and the shower curtain really didn’t do it’s job due to the water spilling outside causing the floor to be wet. A small criticism to the house keepers. I’m not going to accuse them of skipping us, might be because my family might have been inside so they probably didn’t want to bother us, but I gotta say they didn’t clean our room when we went to our event or change out the towels for a brand new one. That’s the criticisms. I do appreciate their free breakfast, free parking, kind helpful receptionist, and how close everything was from the hotel to convention.
