I checked in just after 3pm, it took almost 15 mins to check in. I was given room 201 right next to the main road, even though there was only a few guests staying at the motel. I then found an additional charge of $88 on my card, which was immediately refunded. This was on top of the $100 for additional charges, which I hope is also removed. The room is definitely not sound proof as heard traffic all night…

Older hotel that is being fixed up. We picked it because of it is well situated geographically for our Ventura trip. I would have no problem staying there again.

Nice old school motel for the price. Rooms are small with limited amenities, but they have been updated recently and are pretty nice. The exterior is currently undergoing renovation, but noise and disruption were minimal. Staffing seems a bit limited, so daily maid service for multi-day stays isn’t a thing here. Overall, I’d say it’s a good value for the price. I’d stay at the White Caps again.

This hotel is definitely a gem! I will be staying here anytime I have to be in the Santa Barbara or Ventura area. The new owners have made the rooms so cute. They are fully remodeled. They’re so polite and it was a very enjoyable stay.

What I didn’t like was that there were no cups or glasses in the room and no coffeemaker. I had to ask the front desk for a cup and I received one flimsy plastic cup. I then asked to point me to the ice machine and drink dispenser. There was none on the property. I asked for a bottled water and management wanted to charge me a dollar and was rude that I was making requests. I also was a late check in due to traveling. The property and room were lovely and clean and quiet, though they were doing some exterior improvements. I would stay there again, knowing to plan ahead and provide my own water and coffee.

Just enough room for two travelers for 1-2 nights. Rooms are tiny. Room was clean, although the small love seat in room had some questionable stains. TV remote was broken, toilet paper holder fell off the wall, mini fridge is on the floor, tucked in a corner, difficult to use. Bathroom was nice. Looks like rooms have been recently remodeled. Not a terrible place, but I won't stay there again.
