Europalace exceeded all expectations. We got a corner lake view room and it was absolutely stunning! The hotel room was spacious, clear and you could tell that the bathrooms had recently been renovated. The location is perfect, and walkable to all the necessary areas around. The only difficult thing is getting to the hotel. If you take the train, just know there is a bus stop that is slightly hidden that will take you to the city center then you will have to walk to the hotel. But, that is just more of a logistical element than an issue with the hotel. All in all, if I was to come back to the area I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel on the Lake
The best hotel of my Italy trip. The location is very good on the lake. The room was so big that rooms from my last 3 hotels could fit in it. The bathroom was also good size and room had wonderful lake view. The breakfast was very good and hotel offers many cold and hot items in it. The hotel has elevator and staff is very efficient and friendly. The room had air conditioning, which was missing in my last 2 hotels. The location of the hotel is walking from ferry terminal, food places and not far from villa Taranto gardens.

Elegant hotel in the center of a quiet town
I didnt expect the family room to be that huge and had a balcony looking at the lake. Even though you can see the hotel has seen good days, but I can still feel its elegant. It is just across the street with the lake shore and 2 minutes away from the ferry station from which you can reach any of 3 islands and rest of towns around the lake. This town was very peaceful and relaxed. The breakfast was a good deal for 2 adults and 2 children. It costed only 20 euros. The free parking was on the street and relatively easy to get a spot when I arrived with a rental car at Monday evening. We stayed for only one night and I am thinking to come back again.

The hotel was in a beautiful location. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious and cost just 5 euro/person. The one down side was no air conditioning and it got pretty warm (mid-June).

Clean, quaint and fantastic location
Wonderful 4 days at the EuroPalace with a gorgeous view of Lago Maggiore. Hotel needs some updates but is very clean and staff couldn't be nicer. Breakfast is included and nice selection of Italian and European choices. Centrally located in Pallanza and a nice place to stay to do all things around the lake.

Stunning views of Lake Maggiore, very spacious room for 3 adults. Comfortable beds, fast and reliable wifi connections, very good breakfasts. Fantastic location, short walk to ferry and great restaurants. Thoroughly recommend staying here!

Rooms with a wonderful view of the lake
My husband and I stay here every year because of the great location in pallanza, directly on the lake. The ferry terminal is a 2-minute walk down the street. The hotel decor is rather vintage, but the rooms are clean and spacious. Many rooms have an amazing view of the lake! Very good value for the wonderful location.

Great location, not much more
Hotel is in a great location on the lake shore but the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired. Pleasant entrance but the rooms are very aged. Rooms are a good size but the decor looks like it's been the same since the '80's with the smell of stale smoke still remaining from pre-smoking ban. Breakfast was mediocre at best.

Hotel looking over the lake
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was massive and we had a great view of the lake from our room. Parking outside the hotel was safe as it was on the road.

Don't stay here!
Great location, advertised as climate control but In fact was only heating so with 34C it was like sleeping in a sauna!!!! Which wasn't helped by the beds which were very uncomfortable. Hotel manager was quite strange, almost rude. Would not recommend.

Great value for money
Overall a most enjoyable stay. This is not a luxury hotel - there are smarter hotels in the area but they look after you well and it was great value for money. We had one of the superior rooms on the 3rd floor with a great view of the lake and the room was simply huge. There are no lavish furnishings and it seemed a bit bare at first but it is very comfortable. The bathroom is well equipped especially the large showerhead. Breakfast was very good - nothing fancy, but a buffet with a good variety of everything and it was much better than I have experienced in similarly priced hotels in Italy.

My Stay
The location of this Hotel is excellent,on the waterfront and within walking distance of all local sites. I had breakfast one morning it was ok just basicThe room was old fashioned and in need of a face lift but was very large which was a big plus.. My room was located at the side of the hotel overlooking a narrow allyway .As a consequence it was very dark and needed the lights on at all times.The staff were very friendly. Overall the hotel was just fine

Great old hotel in charming town
It's an old hotel. But it's in great shape, the bathroom was modern, the breakfast was great. And it's was less than half the price of what you pay a few miles away in Switzerland. We took the car ferry the next day, which was a lot of fun for the kids.

Schönes Hotel. Wie lieben diesen Ort und gehen nur dort übernachten. Die lange ist super. Preis Leistung ist in Ordnung. Das einzige was letzend passierte, das Schimmel am Brot und Käse war. Das ist igal welche Kategorie der Hotel ist, ist NO GO.
