Charged me $100 more without telling me until I asked why it was more than my online booking. When leaving she said I would get the $100 back in 4 days (which I did, but still didn't appreciate the way they went about it). People smoking right in front of every door. Garbage all around the property. Muddy hallways. Full garbage bags laying around in hallways. Smelly stairways. Some staff was unfriendly, some were friendly. Had to ask for enough towels for the room (only 3 supplied when the room sleeps 7 and we booked for 6). Had to wait for some of the breakfast to be cooked. The muffins/pastries were old and dry. Orange juice the second morning was extremely watered down. The bathroom fan didn't work and with 6 people in a room, that wasn't pleasant. Only 1 kleenex box in entire suite. Very creaky floors in the room so it was noisy from people walking above us too. The beds were comfortable and the cleaning lady was friendly but first told me I had to wait 2 hours for more towels, and I said my kids need to shower before 10 at night so they brought me 2 more right away and the third a little while after which was okay. Receptionist was not kind to the gentleman ahead of me in line even though he was friendly the entire time. All in all, not my worst hotel experience but at the same time, I do not think we will return here again.
