Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend I stayed at the Sage Motel expecting a comfortable night, but unfortunately, it was anything but. The AC unit was on all night but never actually cooled the room—it just made a loud, constant noise that made it hard to sleep. The toilet was leaking, which added to the discomfort. The motel is advertised as recently remodeled, but that claim is questionable at best. The room felt outdated and poorly maintained. As for the "free breakfast," it was minimal—just some pastries, yogurt, fruit, and juice. Definitely not what I would consider a proper breakfast. Overall, this stay was a letdown. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless some serious improvements are made.

So far so good! Just checked in a few hours ago, but the staff was super friendly, switching rooms so mine could be near my friend’s. The bed is comfy and the room is nice and fairly priced. The hotel is right near /in downtown, so it’s nice to be close to a lot of dining and entertainment and shopping options.

The room was very clean even though it is an older motel. The staff were excellent in meeting our needs. We had to have staff come help with the tv as there was not a remote to turn it on.

Great place for traveling on a budget. It’s convenient to shopping and dining but it’s in a noisy area. There was only one night stand and one lamp. It was difficult to figure out where to put things or to plug in electronics. Pedestal sink so no place to put things like toothpaste or toothbrushes. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Sort of a desk but it was too tall for the chair. The manager was super! She was so nice, it made staying here worth the inconveniences. Great for the price.

This was a good spot to stay after my visit to Dinosaur National Monument. Hot shower and a comfortable bed was just what I needed. I'm a deep sleeper so I didn't have any problems with noise as others had described. The staff were all very friendly and kind. This was my first time in Vernal and everyone I interacted with was friendly and kind. Awesome place!!

The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. This is a very good value for the price you pay. If you don't mind the road noise, people dragging main nightly in motorcycles and trucks and extended stay people cooking and talking in the parking lot until 11, this will be great. With earplugs, I couldn't hear a thing. If you need a blow dryer, ask for one at the desk. (It's truly sad that people steal these and they can't have them in the room.) Ask also for the code to the ice. They didn't provide this upon check-in. Breakfast - some of the food was a little old (eggs/bananas), but otherwise a decent offering for a value hotel.

Over-priced, but okay for a motel.

The room was comfortable and clean. The lady who greeted us was friendly, smelled like an ashtray, was wearing a pair of jeans and a gray t-shirt and didi’t introduce herself. The provided breakfast was hard-boiled eggs and cereal. Coffee wasn’t available u til 7:00. We opted to eat a real breakfast across the street at Amy’s.

Great location needs some renovation.

The service was decent and the rooms and premises were clean. The building is not in great condition and I was concerned about the light switch in the bathroom being nearly in the shower and it did not appear clear if it was a GFI switch so I just didn’t touch it after I turned on the light my first day.

DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE

The only positive I can say is the lady that checked us in was nice. From there it was not good. The shower did not drain. The hand towel holder fell off the wall. The sheets were dirty and there was hair in the bed. The staff was rude about the dirty sheets and reminded us that they were an economy hotel. That the sheets may have stains and females make the beds so there may be hair when they make the beds. The air conditioner would not stay on. It shut off and on. The tv did not work properly. If you went into guide it did not come out. Lastly we had to have keys reprogrammed multiple times as they did not stay programmed and working for the door. I do NOT RECOMMEND this hotel.
