Not what I expected

I chose this hotel due to the many good reviews; i wouldn't be quite so complimentary to it. Room smelled of mold/musty, bed hard/uncomfortable, rust stains in bathtub, just felt dingy overall. Area seemed safe however there were some holes (peephole and an outlet) that had been oddly stuffed with toilet paper.. like a crack-head was paranoid they were being watched or something. Breakfast was decent, staff very friendly and accomodating, affordable, and convenient location.

Nice hotel but poor food

Recently revamped room except for bathroom which is looking very worn. Blinds in windows look great but not so practical in keeping light out. Nice unheated pool and boules as well as seating area in the garden. Coffee bags in the room were the weakest coffee I ever tasted and breakfast was poor. No fresh fruit, strawberry yoghurt the ubiquitous waffle machine and awful scrambled eggs plus bagels n bread so not great. Nice helpful staff sorted the couple of issues we had. 35 minutes drive to the very nice beach, very limited dining options to walk to.

Nice stay.

Room was nice, clean and comfy. Check in easy. But TV would not work. It had 2 remotes, no sheet with instructions/channel guide, and no buttons would make channels load in. Very disappointing.

Easy location, clean property but bit of "can't do" attitude which was off-putting at times for example not being able to give my inclusive breakfast to a colleague. WHO cares WHO eats it?... Still overall, decent, inexpensive, pleasant and convenient right off Hwy I-95.

Very old property that has been remodeled nicely, but still a very old motel. Bed was comfortable and modernized furniture. Bathroom was rough. However, staff was excellent! Ice machine was out of order.

Dated and Needing Refurbishing

The room was super dated. We had to change rooms as the first room did not have heat and the temps were in the 30’s that evening. The bath tub was old and dated. The bathroom was roomy, but dated. This is just an average hotel. Even the food was just average. It was a hot buffet, which is better than the average cold continental breakfast. I don’t think I’ll be back.
