I’m afraid it wasn’t as good as I hoped. The staff were not friendly at all especially the tall lady with the long dark hair who checked us out. Very disappointing. She didn’t greet us or say goodbye. Just looked us up and down. Breakfast was awful. Cold bacon, cold potatoes and cold messy scrambled eggs on both days. Really gross. I’d never stay here again.

If you like 1970s decor, impersonal checkin and a 10am checkout for €200 per night, this is the place! If this is 4 star I wouldn’t like to stay in a 3 star. Verona is nice, next time I’ll book somewhere in the old town.

Very short walk to the main attractions. Staff was friendly, We stayed at an adjacent building which looks like an apartment but didn’t mind at all. Comfy beds, pillows could be softer, breakfast is in the main lobby at the hotel. I would recommend this for families with kids. 5 mis walk to train station.
