High winds at sea delayed our ferry, so our overall trip to Vestmann Island was cut short, but we made the most of our time. Lava Guesthouse was very centrally located and wonderfully clean and comfortable. The bathroom, in particular, was quite nice, and the kitchen facilities were an added plus. I wish we could have stayed much longer!

Great location to use as a base for our visit of the islands. We rented the full apartment but it was apparent it could also be used as two separate rooms rented out with a shared bathroom- so one bedroom was actually the kitchenette. Just need to be aware if you actually plan to use the kitchen that it is a bedroom! On street parking . Never saw the owner but comunication was great through Expedia app.
