Good chain-hotel, clean, and you get what you expect from Fosshotels. The drawback is that the breakfast is OK, but not always quality ingredients, also the dinner was very expensive for a small portion and not even good quality. p.s. In the town is a much better place for dinner.

We had a group of wedding professionals at World Class Wedding Venues - Say "I Do" Worldwide - touring Iceland searching wedding ideas for brides and grooms wanting to get married or take their honeymoon in Iceland. The Westfjords are outstanding! World Class Wedding Venues team of wedding experts traveled through picture perfect postcard settings. The Westfjords Fosshotel is a perfect place for couples or wedding guests wanting to escape the busy city and explore virgin lands of Iceland. Of the 8 hotels we stayed at in Iceland, this was our least favorite. The service was least effort possible. Coffee machine at breakfast didn't work properly the entire time we were there and no one seemed to care. We had a toilet that was leaking all over the bathroom floor and not sure who designed the shower in this room, but putting a curtain in a 1X1M shower means it sticks to you the entire time you're in there. You won't have many choices in this area, but I'd look elsewhere if you can.
