The pool and hot tub was not "closed" but should have been! Dirty, gross! Public restroom closed, broken...fire alarm for no reason, ice machine on our floor broke, pancake machine broken, NEVER had this kind of problems at IHG, oh and when we arrived in room there was a bad odor , window open and an ozone machine running!?! We left it going and window open,we both had headaches when we woke up! Should have reported to front desk and found out what the order was but didn't!

When I reached the hotel, front desk lady said my room is not available after 30 mins of waiting for check-in. Their system was showing ~13 rooms available but there were guests in each of those rooms. They cancelled my reservation and I had to find another hotel at almost double the price at the middle of night! Almost all the guests who were waiting didn't get the room that night. Terrible experience!

If there was a phrase to sum up the stay at this hotel it would be “out of action” or “out of service”. Swimming pool - heater broken / out of service Hot tub - heater broken / out of service Gym treadmill - broken / out of service Ice machine - broken / out of service Room key cards - broke or stopped working after the first try, required a rekey. Rooms were supposed to be connected but that wasn’t an option for whatever reason, resulting in our family being split between different ends of the floor. Checkin took a while due to lots of people all arriving at the same time. There was a “permanent resident” that was talkative and friendly and hanging out in the lobby all night and the next morning…wasn’t sure if the person was an escort or a madame or just super friendly.
