The Roadway Inn is an excellent choice for a stay. Nice owners. Great breakfast! Very quiet and comfortable bed. highly recommend.

I found the breakfast window to be limited even on the weekend. The refrigerator in the room was unplugged. Several of the wall plugs needed replacement as the socket was so warn that the plug would fall out with the slightest tension.

We had a lovely stay. The owners are absolutely wonderful. Their hospitality was excellent. Made to order eggs and waffles along with many other options made the breakfast lovely. We’ll be back when traveling.

Bonus room with full size fridge & freezer
The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. I had a lovely quiet room, with a bonus room that was a small kitchen with a full size fridge and freezer. It was so nice to be able to relax over coffee and breakfast in the morning in my own private space while enjoying the view out the kitchen window.

It was a comfortable bed and clean room. Breakfast was good. Could have used some bacon or sausage with the eggs, which was not available. The area is off old Rte 66. Which is very economically depressed. Many closed and boarded up buildings. Homeless walking around. The night I stayed, one of the guests had her car window smashed in the middle of the night and her car broken into. Right in the hotel parking lot. High crime area.

The place was dirty and way outdated. Our TV didn’t work and the place was a fire hazard with piggybacked extension cords AND if there was a fire we wouldn’t know as the smoke alarm was dangling from the ceiling. The owner was rude and I would never recommend this place.

This was our second time at this property. I would stay here again anytime we are in Barstow. Again, the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable. We had a great breakfast with my eggs cooked to order by the owner. We had such a nice visit with her. These are wonderful people who make you feel welcome and are working hard to keep the prices reasonable.
