Das Tigras was an amazing hotel. Very close to everything, from the best restaurants, great sights, wonderful shopping and special historical properties. The breakfast was fantastic with a great variety of foods, beverages and desserts. The staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We really loved it. The hotel staff was equally great and gave us fabulous restaurants to go to. We would definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying again when in Vienna.

The hotel advertised “parking available.” Yes it is “available” but not from the hotel. It is about a 15 walk from their location to a private lot. You pay them and they give you a ticket to exit the lot. The ticket they gave us did not work. After 3 trips from the lot back and forth to the hotel they were unable to correct the problem. I had to contact the private lot manager to convince them to let us exit. I disputed the charge. The hotel forced payment anyway. This ordeal cost us an hour and we were unable to make it in time for a tour we had booked. The $104.96 still would not have covered the reservation we lost.

The location is excellent, and the supreme room is of a decent size, albeit no balcony. The breakfast at 20 euros/person is spectacular!! There are apples, candies, tea, cold water in the lobby of the hotel available to guests 24/7 free of charge. There are no daily complementary bottles of waters inside the rooms. Upon arrival or departure one can easily check-in/check-out online. The hotel’s staff is available 24/7, albeit one is constantly missing from the desk. My calling attempt to the reception from the room was unsuccessful, no one picked up the phone. However, my request of the service was promptly satisfied when I reminded the staff of my request.

We had a wonderful stay at Das Tigra. The location is perfect - close to all the sites. The breakfast was delicious and the small bar perfect after a long day of sightseeing. What we loved most was the staff, who were kind and helpful. The airline lost our bags and the hotel staff offered to accept and hold our bags once found even while we were not staying at the hotel. I would definitely recommend Das Tigra.

Wonderful breakfast, guest service, and very quiet. The carpet is worn but that was easily overlooked because everything else was so pleasant and clean. Location was also superb, even in the very hot temperatures and humidity of August. We would definitely stay again, and recommend to others.

After travelling through numerous cities and countries, my family and I all agree that this was the best hotel. Great service, staff and rooms. Other than not realizing that we could have asked the front desk for different pillows, our stay was near perfect!
