I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Der Wilhelmshof. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The location is only 5 minutes from Praterstern so good connections to the airport and city centre, and the Ringstraße is only a 15 minute walk. There are lots of bars and restaurants around, so it’s a great place to stay. I will definitely stay here next time I’m in Vienna.

We had a fabulous stay here.The property was beautiful & the included breakfast was top notch with food being constantly refreshed.The staff were all lovely and it felt like you mattered to them. Fantastic proximity to train station & U bahn making it easy to get around the city & transfer to the airport.(although we mainly walked everywhere) Despite it raining for 4 days whilst we were in Vienna, we loved the city and would definitely stay here again.

A Great Hotel

Stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed my stay. There are several very good restaurants within easy walk and it's an easy drive, or long walk to the center of the historic part of Vienna. A quiet and clean place to recharge after a day of long day of exploration. Nice patio and very good breakfast.

Der Wilhelmshof is just round the corner from Preterstern underground station, and very well connected to all the sites in Vienna. My room was quiet, en-suite very nice. Staff helpful, breakfast excellent. If you have business or a holiday in Vienna, you should consider this hotel.

Short stay in Vienna

The hotel is a little out of the centre, but easy reachable by tram (couple of stops). The breakfast was really nice, with a good choice. The room was very clean and well decorated.

Nice hotel but felt a little like a converted office block and quite a walk into town centre. Wide selection of breakfast but not top quality, for example dry croissants. Was ok value for money but not exceptional. A lot of building renovations and roadworks around the hotel during our stay but that won't affect future guests in a few months I imagine.

Wilhelmshof is a lovely boutique hotel with a quiet, pleasant outdoor terrace for relaxing after a long day exploring. Steps awat from the Praterstern U-bahn station and an easy walk to many great restaurants. a 20-30 minute walk to the Stefansplatz, but a quick subway ride.

The hotel is well maintained with friendly staff and fine facilities. Their breakfast buffet included in the room rate featured a wide variety of good quality food choices. The area is a bit off from the center of Vienna but quiet. One recommendation is to improve air conditioning in the room which was not adequate. The room felt warm and extremely humid and there was no way to adjust to lower temperature which is very limiting. Overall, good hotel and experience.
