The room decor is dark and dated. Bathroom vanity was old and painted The Air Conditioner was very noisy and the filter was completely embedded with dust. The hotels main air conditioning units under our bedroom window and was extremely noisy. Traffic around the hotel is unbearable!!! It might have been a 4 star Hoyt but not anymore Not worth the amount of money I paid.

Excellent room, plenty space. Clean and tidy. Safety a plus. Stayed on 7th floor, quick elevator to front desk, breakfast, and evening bar area. Enjoyed metting Betty the bartender, what a treat. Pool easily accessible and nice. Smooth check out.only issue was travelers kept carts after transporting their luggage so we had to make several trips to carry ours. And didnt know we had to pay $12 a night to park - there was plenty parking so unnessary. Would stay again, liked being away from dc area.

We got there at 3pm and our room was not ready. I booked 2 rooms on the same reservation. We were on opposite sides of the hotel and on different floors. They nickle and dimed us for parking and wifi. The refrigerator in my room had a terrible smell and something sicky on the bottom that got all over my items. There were burnt pieces of popcorn in the microwave. The shower was broken. The bathtub didnt fully shut off when I put the shower on so the water pressure was very weak. I spent around $600 for our stay and feel pretty ripped off.

When coming in the room there was an off putting smell , not fresh but faint smoky and dog smell. Had to go and get some air freshener and febreeze spray. Also, the air conditioning out put was sub par, it never reached the low temperature we set it for, like 65 degrees; seems like the filters needed to be changed. Called down to front desk and no one answered at around 8:30, 9 and around 10. I used the rooms phone and me cell phone. Only enjoyment I got was the room was clean despite the smell, the complimentary drinks during Happy Hour and the Free Breakfast Buffet each morning of our stay.

Sincere kindness, I enjoyed staying here so much that I decided to stay another few days. I checked out on time like I was supposed to do. When in the car I decided to stay another few days. I feel very comfortable here. Even during breakfast time staff is amazing. Any help or questions that you might have staff is there for you. I like the fact that they keep up with the rooms. Cleanliness is a top priority here in the hotel. There is something special about this hotel. It's like it's family oriented.
