This was a nice hotel but a bit eclectic for our taste. Smaller rooms with a separate shower, toilet and sink that was out in the open. There is no air conditioning so if you like to sleep in a bit cooler environment this isn’t the place for you.

Lovely hotel, great location. Excellent roof top breakfast. Rooms pleasant. Only slight disappointment, roof top bar limited access at 10:30 on a Saturday evening. We had to go elsewhere for an evening drink.

Our check out experience was not good and we are particularly unhappy with this aspect of our stay at your hotel. First of all the hotel.com discount voucher of €25 was not not discounted! we had a meal in the hotel downstairs restaurant but the voucher was only available in the second floor restaurant the Lemon Restaurant. Informing us of this important piece of information at checkout is unprofessional. Second point was that my partner ( nationality American) wanted to treat me and pay for the hotel bill. She was asked by the receptionist did she want to pay in $ or € ? Again it was not stated to her that there was an additional charge for paying in $ as opposed to € currency. It was only when we received the email invoice later by email with the full bill print out that the $ charge is highlighted. The bill should have been $733.89 but because of mark up charges it is now $777 a mark up of $43! Had my partner been informed of this by the receptionist that there was a commission charge for choosing $ in her payment transaction she would have obviously chosen € as she has a Visa Citibank world anywhere which does not charge for purchases overseas. The lack of information given by the receptionist highlighting this 3.5 % mark up charge is again very disappointing.
