We were made to feel very welcome upon our arrival. The hotel was clean and tidy. Our room on the 3rd floor was quiet and spacious. Was glad that the windows could be opened. Liked that there was a separate bathroom with a closed door. Everything was spotlessly clean. Plenty of wardrobe space. Safety deposit box. Minor things: bath towels were a bit on the small side, no shower gel supplied only shampoo/conditioner, no iron in room, and pillows were limp (although the bed itself was comfy and it was a proper double not two singles pushed together). Location was good in as much as it took about 12 minutes to walk into the city centre, but there wasn't a lot to do in the immediate vicinity. Beethoven's statue was very near, and a few restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel
What a wonderful hotel!! We just loved it here. Our suite was huge and so comfortable. The hotel was spotless throughout. The location was great. It is within walking distance of most all of the Vienna tourist attractions. What we enjoyed here the most though was the staff. All of the desk staff just went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us out. We can’t say enough excellent things about them. The only negative about our stay here was the breakfast. It was 24 euro per person and it just wasn’t worth it. There was a decent selection of food to choose from, but the food was just ok quality. The juice one morning was so chemical tasting that we couldn’t drink it. And I question their food handling. The sterno went out under the sausages, and my sausage was really cold. When I alerted the buffet staff, they just relit the sterno and never adequately heated the meat. That’s a big no no. Overall I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat, I would just avoid the breakfast buffet at all costs.

Great location if you want to be near the Wien Mitte train station (where you catch the airport train). Hotel itself was a bit dated but everything is mostly fine. Suite was very spacious and well equipped if you're in for a longer stay (we had a 20-hour layover in Vienna). Also very quiet location so you can easily get some rest. Photos suggested a suite with hardwood flooring but ours was fully carpeted, including the kitchenette which suffered from stains. Suggest leaving your shoes on in this suite or at least socks.
