The rooms were really nice, staff was very accommodating. The rooms didn’t have phones to call the helpdesk, but they did have WhatsApp, which allowed you to communicate with them. The bar upstairs was amazing for late night drinks and good ambience.

We stayed at Hotel Motto for 2 nights at the start of 2026. The checkin experience was excellent and came with a complimentary beverage. The room (Art Deluxe) was quirky as expected, beautifully designed and appointed. The toilet was seperate from the main bathroom which was ideal. The bed was comfortable although the individual duvet covers take some getting used to. The hotel bakery was an excellent way to start each day. The hotel location was also ideally located next to a metro stop and the immediate area was lively with lots of shopping and dining options. I would recommend and return to Hotel Motto without hesitation.

Amazing hotel, only issue is we were not offered welcome drinks on arrival. I obviously asked for these and was given them at a later time. Comfortable beds and lovely designs will stay again.

Love MOTTO! My only wish, is that they had some sort of common area to hang, to play cards, games, drink coffee and just relax and get to know people. Other than that, I’d give 5 stars!

The hotel is beautiful, with comfortable beds and a nice restaurant with bar. The hotel location is close to the subway but it’s not in the best area of Vienna. You have to take the subway to the main areas of Vienna. But overall it’s a great hotel.
