Perfect for a long weekend in Vienna

This is a traditional, elegant, discreet hotel. It has a superb location. Lighting is excellent. Many outlets for charging phones, etc. and very? Very quiet. Note: for those traveling lightly, this hotel is around the corner from the U3 Herrengasse stop making it incredibly easy to take the CAT airport train to the city and then transferring to the U3. There is no faster, easier way (and much, much cheaper than a taxi).

5 Star Steigenberger

We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. Staff were very professional, with no problem speaking English. Steigenberger hotel is so close to Michaelerplatz which was brilliant for getting to see places on foot. A special thanks to one of the receptionists named Y. Pena Mata. She was so hard working and always greeted myself and my husband with a lovely smile, a credit to the hotel. We will definitely return.

Wonderful stay - Highly recommended!

We stayed for 7 nights as a family (two parents and a 12.5-year-old daughter ) and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The hotel’s location is perfect – right next to a metro station and just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and main attractions, yet very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was rich, varied, and luxurious, served in an elegant yet cozy setting. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding – everyone was courteous and efficient. Although we initially had an issue with the air conditioning in our room, the hotel’s Customer Service Manager, Izabela, handled the situation impressively. She ensured we had a temporary room immediately and later moved us to a spacious corner room similar to our original booking. She went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, with thoughtful gestures and excellent service. Overall, we left extremely satisfied and would warmly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vienna!

Excellent location and nice facility. King size bed room was reserved but not given at check in, so had to change rooms. Room was consistently very hot which resulted in lack of sleep. Asked front desk but no one was sent to help. Shower head position seemed uncomfortable. Also no help was sent for that.
