Its a good hotel as always.. Well run and clean. But things have gotten a lot more expensive in Vientiane these days. The price for a Superior room seems about double from a year ago. I learned it is not worthwhile to get a standard room. Small and no balcony. Always get the superior room with balcony if the price works for you. The pool is quite large and pleasant and the fitness room is decent. Love the location.

The room was pleasant enough. Decent and clean and comfortable. I had a room facing the street but it wasn’t bad at all. Location is great—walkable to most places or easy access via tuktuk or taxi

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and has its own WiFi router. Many restaurants, cafes night market, night food market all nearby or short 6-10 min walk.

Le Charme is exceptionally well run. Plumbing and electrical, bedding and furniture, service and food were all international quality. On Expedia the hotels in this part of the world tend to all look good so it is difficult to see the details. Fantastic location. Good price too. Highly recommend.

I plan to come back and stay here again! It’s clean, close to everything you’d want to see or do, and the customer service is top notch! This place is a hidden gem.

Hotel a bit tired, location is great
This wasn't a bad stay, but it wasn't the best. Room was far more tired than expected, especially for the price. Previously the best western, it has probably had its hey day. Staff were lovely, and the location was great. Pool area was nice but basic lounge chairs. They provided two bottles of water per day for free but I would prefer they save the plastic and have a big water cooler to refill your own bottle. This goes for everywhere we stayed in Laos. The bar that is part of the hotel has a nice little terrace to have a night cap. Prices were reasonable and good service. I would choose to stay elsewhere on my next Vientiane visit as don't feel the amount paid matched the room quality. Had to ask the housekeeper to change the sheets as they had marks on them when we arrived
