The property itself was beautiful. We did experience a few issues. There were cockroaches in the room, the room also wasn’t swept clean there was sand from the previous stay still on the floor. There was also hair on the pillow shams, and between the fitted sheet and flat sheet. So the sheets and pillow shams/cases may not be changed after each stay which we weren’t pleased about either. Aside from that the AC was cold, beautiful property, oh… the front desk wasn’t ever open, and upon arriving no one was there for check in.

Perfect for staying the night after kayaking in the bio bay! Walkable distance to the boardwalk and the meeting location for the bio bay tours. The rooms are small but comfortable and nice and cool. The bed was very comfy and we slept very well. Wally was great and greeted us at the door to give us the keys and get us checked in.

Budget Friendly Option
Overall I would definitely recommend to travelers on a budget who wanna see Vieques. Wally, the manager is super warm, kind and helpful. The property has a beautiful rooftop with scenic views and a fully grown mango tree. We were invited to eat as many as we liked. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It’s a few blocks from the main drag but a fun drive if you have a golf cart. The shared spaces are a little neglected and cluttered but overall, I’m not sorry we stayed.

Clean and comfortable authentic experience.
Quaint little place out of the way. But was really close to everything we wanted to do. The neighborhood seemed a little rough but we had zero issues. This is more like an air b&b so expect that type of check in. You call the supervisor and they let you in. The two bedroom apartment was nice, clean and comfortable. The courtyard outside our room was quiet and peaceful. Make sure you look for your email with instructions.

This modest guest house is clean, has a great bed, and is located an easy walk into the center of Esperanza. We had trouble getting the hot water to stay on in the shower, and the “front desk” didn’t really exist; we were lucky that a kind staff member happened to be working on flower beds when we arrived who could let us in because calls to the hotel weren’t answered and But the room was charming; it had a refrigerator and there was coffee and fixings for us to use, and the ac worked very well. We would definitely stay again!

Property owned by a family and they are very nice. Location is quiet and you would need to drive to the town for a few minutes to get to the major restaurants and gathering points.
