Easy parking outside in parade of shops. Close to nature walk and lake - restaurants nearby were not open (Wednesday) so we walked for 30 mins to nearby town Vollonne for evening meal.

Fabulous Relais & Chateaux hotel located in the middle of the upper part of Provence (Haut Provence), excellent service, beautiful property. We were upgraded to the Villa des Anges with a large living room and full kitchen, semi-private natural and organic pool. We enjoyed a superb dinner chez "La Table de Xavier Mathieu", a one-star Michelin restaurant, the "Pistou" soup was extraordinary, the sommelier and servers were great. Xavier Mathieu is the chef and owner of the property, which has been with his family since the 1980s. The vista is beautiful and you can see the cliffs of Roussillon from the salon.

Emplacement unique. Personnel amical et attentionné. Excellent buffet pour le “petit” déjeuner.

Experience was less than ideal. First night they put us in a room next to the HVAC system that was extremely loud during the night. They seemed to be aware with the issues in the unit and still put us in that room. When requested a change of rooms they did not accommodate until the following day. Further our laundry was lost but eventually found a few days later. Property and pool were lovely, however, hotel was not run well. Would not recommend under current management.

Excellent service from front desk and excellent food from the bistro. The property is very cool. Unfortunately our room had some issues. One was what seemed to be a faint lingering smoke smell. They had an air freshener, perhaps to mask it, but it was too strong and we put it outside. Second, the bed was hard and very uncomfortable. Lastly, plumbing issues, the shower head was spraying all over ceiling. The AC was shut off for season, but it was still quite warm in October when we stayed, so that added to the discomfort.

Unique Pods in beautiful grounds . Extremely helpful staff. Lovely pool and fantastic to have the hot tub at night to sit under the stars of Provence
