Hotel will take advantage of you in a disaster!
Do not book this hotel! We intended to stay at this hotel Sept 4-6, and Hurricane Irma made landfall on the 4th/5th. We had to cancel our plans to avoid getting trapped in a category 5 hurricane on an island that was in its direct path. This hotel declined multiple times to issue a refund, before and after the storm. We would've been trapped with no electricity or clean, running water, and no prediction of if the hotel structure would've withstood the storm or if we would've been killed in the hurricane, like many others sadly did during this disaster. We were still charged for this reservation. I would not trust this hotel to have any kind of compassion for other stranded travelers trapped in the VI during a natural disaster. (Hotels.com was also quite compassionless in their handling of this experience.) I would however recommend Bunker Hill Hotel. We were trying to fly out of St Thomas before the hurricane and all flights were cancelled. The family that owns the hotel took us in during the storm and helped us survive afterwards sharing food, water, and all resources. Stay there instead.

dont go during rainy season
It was the rainy season and mosquitoes were very abundant. I received many nips the first night. When I told the housekeeper the next morning, she told me she would spray the room. Why not spray before I arrived!. Then she told me that she had Zika infection two years earlier. The beds were nice though. But why no have mosquito nets around the bed? I would have been able to sleep a lot better.

Very friendly staff. We loved walking the beach.
We loved walking the beach at night. Rocking chairs by the bar were reason enough to stay at this lovely place. Also the hammocks were very comfortable. Would come back again.

Wonderful home away from home.
Fischer's Cove is a wonderful hotel on a beautiful beach with incomparable views from its breakfast/dinner veranda. Andy Flax and his family - who run the resort - are so friendly and gracious that they are like famiy to us.

Terrible hotel
This hotel is a complete ripoff... Scattered dry patches of grass and dirt that they call "garden view"...with chickens wondering around. Very run down, outdated rooms (buildings and furniture). Dirty rooms with cockroaches and spiders. No water pressure to flush or shower properly. Loud weak A/C. No ice available when i requested it. Restaurant only open sometimes and with only 2 main course options. Terrible offerings and extremely overpriced. One small bowl of instant oat meal US$11???...ridiculous! When i complained to front desk, no apologies were offered, instead just a defensive explanation (with attitude) that their hotel is not a normal hotel...that they offer a "Homie" experience. It must be a poor's man Home experience at the price of a high end hotel, that would explain the cockroaches and chickens. Expedia should not allow hotels that are this bad to show on their list of offered Hotels.

Decent hotel close to the beach and dining
Nice people in a decent three star resort close to the beach. The rooms were a little run down, but the resort staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort is a short walk to the central area of Spanish Town which has restaurants and bars close by.

Virgin Gorda
This was an eclectic hotel on a beautiful bay in Spanish Town Virgin Gorda. It was close to the ferry and had a lot of street noise from traffic and trucks getting on and off the ferry. The restaurant had good food and the staff was friendly and helpful. Without a car getting around was difficult. We paid $20 for a round trip visit to the Baths. Taxi from the ferry to hotel was $15. The Mermaid Restsurant next door was fabulous with a beautiful sunset.

You get what you pay for, I guess.
Fischer's Cove is located on a pretty beach within walking distance of the Baths. We stayed there for three days.

Wonderful staff, amazing setting.
The staff was so friendly and willing to go out of their way to help you. Couldn't ask for a better setting, right on the beach and no crowds at all. The rooms are quite moderate and could use some updating, but main complaint was the open air bar next door played music into the am hours on the weekends - not great for light sleepers, but otherwise, you cannot beat the location.

Make sure to get a room with AC
There was an overall shock when we first checked in because we had just spent the previous 5 nights at the Ritz St. Thomas and there was obviously a striking contrast in quality of the rooms (price difference too obviously...), so we were a little taken aback. It wasn't obvious to us when booking that there were rooms with AC, and open-air rooms without AC. This makes a huge difference when it's 90 degrees outside, mosquitoes are everywhere, and neighbors are making a ton of noise until 2am. On the second night we switched to a room with AC and plastic covering over the screen windows, and we were much more comfortable. The staff (family run) was great, so it was just a combination of a friendly environment in a beautiful setting and feeling like your practically camping. The staff was gracious enough to upgrade our rooms when we asked. The food at the restaurant was very good with good portions, though a little pricey. It certainly felt like a remote location, as Virgin Gorda in general is remote (low population, few paved roads, rare internet, etc.), but the hotel accentuated that. After a few nights we got used to it and came to like it, but there is an adjustment period.

Good location
This hotel is decent. Room size is good and the location is nice, close to the Baths about a 30 minute walk. Biggest negatives for us was the bed it was a full not a queen and too hard, the roosters every morning, and the shower pressure was bad. Service and staff are really friendly.

Too Expensive for Quality- Many Bugs
This hotel is too expensive for what it is in my opinion. We stayed in an individual hut closer to the beach. The staff was very friendly and nice but the quality of the hotel was terrible. Our toilet wouldn't flush and the contents stayed until the maid came each day and it was cleaned out. Our water didn't run in our sinks or shower until we went to the front desk to ask about it. They said it was because the sprinklers were running so they turned them off. The kitchenette was fine but didn't feel like I'd want to leave food there. The windows were all covered in plastic wrap and you couldn't open them to get a breeze as there were ac units oddly installed (nice but then no natural cooling). The bathrooms have about 8' walls that above that are open to the rest of the hut which was fine for us but not much privacy in that sense. There were many bugs in our hut- sand fleas/ flies etc. are to be expected close to the beach but not lots of spiders and webs that looked like the ceiling hadn't been cleaned and lots of geckos- in your room. We came back each day to find droppings on our bed! We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but it has a great view and is very convenient. The drinks were good. The beach is fine and a good convenience right there. Location was pretty good for us and getting to where we wanted to go- did rent a car and suggest that.

Nice and Convenient
Moderate to basic accommodation but very very convenient. On the beach. Some cottages now air-conditioned. Incredible raised, breezy, porch with rockers to sit and read with in 20 feet of the lapping waves on a beautiful beach. Lovely view of the harbor and boats. Very helpful friendly staff. Kitchenette very helpful because of high price of food in restaurants on the island. Would definitely stay again if back to Virgin Gorda, BVI.

Graziosa sala sul mare con poltrone, niente altro
Molto buono il cocktail di benvenuto, carina la sala comune sul mare .....niente altro. Hotel caro con camere datate . WiFi solo in sala comune. Ristorante buono ma molte cose in menù non disponibili. Spiaggia ok . Vicinanza al porto e ai baths. Purtroppo a Virgin goda non c è altro ammesso che non si voglia spendere tantissimo. Tutto molto caro
