A Leaky Bad Experience
Our room was on the third floor and when we walked into the room the first thing I said was that it didn’t feel clean. We quickly straightened up but mostly the floor needed to be swept from previous beach goers. We had to go downstairs to ask for face towels because the phone didn’t work and there were none. That night we discovered that the cable for the tv wasn’t connected, so my boyfriend had to connect it then I woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom while sitting on the toilet water started dripping on me from above. The ceiling leaked all night and the patio facing the beach only had one chair and it was also leaking from the a/c so we couldn’t enjoy that much either! The biggest problem was that we both noticed bites on our arms and backs the next morning! We did inspect the sheets but didn’t find anything. The room attendant never swept our room for the three days we were there and I was very disappointed with our experience. I didn’t complain to the managers because my boyfriend stated it wasn’t worth it but he did inform the gentleman at the front desk during checkout to check the room. In my opinion the bad things were covered up with paint and the hotel needs some tlc. I must add that the maintenance guy was always friendly and polite and helpful.

It was pretty terrible. The room wasn’t that clean. There was hair everywhere, on the floor, in the bathroom, on towels. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The floor had been “cleaned” with some type of solution that made it extremely slippery, my son slipped and fell. The refrigerator was missing a leg and was leaning. The door to the balcony was hard to open. The door to the bathroom got stuck and was hard to open once closed. The shower was not enjoyable, a hand held spray shower with no pressure. Not worth the price I paid, which increased when I checked into the hotel. The only good thing was the location of the hotel, it was oceanfront.

Everything was clean but you can tell its a old building around our shower was tarable and the coffee was good but I had to get out of my room to get it also the new floors was sticky after getting clean I enjoyed everything I would come back it's a nice place and the people was great. #1

This hotel's accomodations and condition were appropiate for the price. I was there a few days after Labor day. Pros: beachfront with an outdoor balcony facing the ocean, outdoor swimming pool and adequately clean. The room was spacious. I had a problem with the hot water setting, but maintenence quickly resolved the problem. Cons: bathroom a little outdated, but clean and functional, parking was free but not on premises, it was across the street and about 3/4 down the block. They did have a few unloading spots on premises so you didn't have to drag your luggage from the offsite parking lot. I read complaints about the floors being sticky, but in all honesty, I believe it was from the humid air and saltwater effects. They certainly beat musty smelling carpets. Cleanliness got an eight out of 10 because picture frames and other ledges were pretty dusty, but it didn't affect my stay, just put me off some about thier detail to attention of the overall quality of cleaning of non used areas. All in all it was a good stay and value for the beach experience. I would stay again at that same time of year because it was quiet, not over crowded and quick elevator service.

The room was ok. No drain stopper for the sink. The hallway smelled like Marijuana all the time. There was only 1 elevator for the hotel and it was slow. The TV remote didn't work very well. There was no hooks or shelves in the shower. The parking lot was across the street from the hotel; we came back that night and waited for a parking spot to become available.

This place is a slum. That’s why it’s so cheap. No curtain over the balcony door made it very difficult to sleep because the hotel is right on the strip and there’s lots of lights, noise, action. Also, when I tried to call the front desk to ask if I could get a curtain, I realized there wasn’t a phone, even though there was a card stating which extensions to call for help. Overall, if you’re 18 and don’t give a crap where you sleep, this works as it’s right in front of the boardwalk. If you’re my age, you’d be requesting a refund for sure. Stay away!!! It’s not a good deal at all.

They gave somebody else a key to our room. We were shocked when someone just walked in. They said that the front desk assigned them our room in error. It’s very inconvenient that the parking for the hotel is a block away and the spaces are tight and limited.
