I stayed three nights at the VIS hotel in VUNGTAU. My room was well kept, people were for the most part very nice especially at breakfast. The breakfast was delicious with many nice servers and cooks. I had a nice spacious suite on the 15th floor with the sea view. No complaints really except for after three nights when I called reception to see if I could check out one hour later, the woman I spoke to said she could only give me 1/2 hour. That I needed to check out by 12:30. That dampened my spirit and I was checked out by 12:15. Not very generous. Lastly there is a lot of construction going on in the front on the ocean side they are tearing down a huge hotel facility with plans to make a boardwalk or something like that but one could not enjoy the peace and quiet during the day because of all the construction. That's not the hotel's fault. It is a very popular hotel for people who come in from HCMC for the weekend.

The property is great. Staff is really friendly and helpful. The gym is great and buffet. Getting around by taxi was easy and shops were about 5-8min away. Not the fault of the hotel but beach access is extremely limited at this time due to the demolition of existing older hotels on the beach. You have to walk about 1/4 mile past the construction for access to the beach. But I could not hear the construction going on from my room it was quiet. And the hotel has a very nice pool on the top floor.

At first, I was impressed when I was greeted. My room was nice. Until… I had a drainage problem and ant infestation along the tub. When I asked to be moved rooms, the receptionist gladly changed rooms and mentioned “we normally charge to switch rooms.” I already pre paid 5 nights. I expect more for a 5 star hotel. She asked me to give a look over at the next room and we were ok with it after a quick glimpse to make sure the issues we currently had was not happening again. After getting ready for bed, I stepped on a dead roach that was blended into the floor……… I notified front desk and they cleaned it when I was out. We came back the tonight and the AC stopped working!! Although they fixed the issue, they did not offer any incentives nor offer their sympathy. I expected more and I did not receive that. Will not be staying at Vias again.

Not familiar with the brand Vias hotel prior to this visit, but WOW this hotel was an absolute pleasant surprise. Almost everything about it was PERFECT!!! The staff was so friendly; the services were quick and efficient, the location is convenient and picturesque- great hotel and very affordable. Our start was incredible. The service was excellent and the facilities were very clean and luxurious. The massages and spa were very affordable and I especially appreciated Amy the lead spa specialist. I had multiple foot massages and reflexology. I took my 3 month baby with me, and the massage specialists Amy and Jully took special care to ensure my baby stayed asleep, including providing heat packs and pillows for him while I held him. I would absolutely return to this hotel and spa! The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff were very supportive of our young family. Afternoon tea was also great. All in all, a fantastic hotel getaway! Thank you Vias!

We really like this hotel and we are glad we found it. Its location is not as busy as the beach strip hotel. It’s a good place to relax. The staff were sweet, the rooms were clean. We’ll go back there for a couple more nights before we leave Vietnam.

Staff was top notch; everyone from concierge, spa, pool to kitchen. Staff amazing and friendly. I travelled with a 1 & 4yr old and the kindness we received and felt was clearly apparent. Kitchen helped steam and mash food for baby, 4yr old chatted with literally everyone! Loved the hotel, it was beautifully decorated, clean and modern. May hotels in the area are older and it shows, not Vias! We can’t wait to stay at the Vias Hotel again!
