I was warm without touching the air conditioning. While the parking was not right by the unit it used, there was good parking. I had no trouble walking up the sloping driveway and the steps to access my accommodation. Others might find this a problem.

Cabin has a bad smell (note on wall stated it was recently varnished but did not have this smell). Shower went hot then cold on and off which made for a very unpleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable with a microwave, refrigerator, some dishes, and plenty of space. It isn’t fancy, but was a nice place to stay a couple of nights in the Waitomo area.

It was a Terrible experience with Expedia even tho I saved a few dollars. I couldn’t get assistance from Expedia compounded with heavy rain during an evening check in. I ended up paying an extra night upfront just so I can stayed away from the heavy rain during my stay as it was unsafe to drive.
