We stayed during a very busy weekend for the area to visit family who live in Kellogg. Local businesses were ready for the influx of tourists, but the hotel was not. They ran out of milk, bananas and other breakfast items. Staff appeared tired and maybe stretched thin. The hotel is listed as “new” on Expedia. It’s not. It’s not even renovated. A new company bought the property and slapped a new name on it. The carpet is still decades old. The room was okay. It was clean. The beds were not great. There’s no elevator, so being on the second floor meant lugging our bags up stairs. We’ll look for other accommodations the next time we visit family in Kellogg.

The FairBridge Inn was really just okay. The hotel itself is a bit run down, and my room had a funky smell. The highlight of this hotel is its location just across the street from the Silver Mountain Resort and gondola. I really liked being able to walk over to the shops and restaurants and enjoy a nice evening not in my hotel room.

Beautiful, ski town. Staff was friendly, room was ok -found a pair of socks under the bed. Bathroom was small. The breakfast was nice and a beautiful lay out, but nothing was hot. Had to heat the eggs and meat yourself. Also had 2 waffle makers!

Terrific option

Room was nice, clean and well furnished. Decor throughout hotel is awesome! Check in was friendly and fast. Breakfast choices were plentiful.

Terri at the front desk was amazing! She gave us great restaurant recommendations for the area and we were able to interact with her about 4 or 5 times during our stay and she was always very friendly. Close to Silver Mountain gondola and the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes. Room was nice. Breakfast was good. It’s an older property so the room was a bit small, the toilet ran for a long time and it was easy to hear the people in the next room. The hot tub was warm but the jets were not strong. I wouldn’t let that keep me from staying again though. Definitely a good value for the area.
