The room was fabulous. It was the deluxe suite and I would definitely recommend staying there. Everyone and everything was very friendly and professional. The food was delicious. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful and friendly staff

We had an amazing stay at The George Hotel from start to finish. It certainly exceeded our expectations! What stood out most about the whole experience was how friendly the staff were. Each and every one took the time to acknowledge and genuinely be interested in us as individuals. This alone has made me want to return there, in the future, but that isn’t forgetting how comfortable the room was. The room was immaculately clean and the large bed gave us a wonderful nights sleep. The location of the hotel was perfect, with plenty of parking and in a beautiful village with lots of walks nearby but also near to other villages and towns to visit. We look forward to booking here again.

The room was outstanding in an amazing position facing Dorchester Abbey. On first name terms with the staff who were very friendly and accomodating. Will stay there again in a heart beat.

Lovely quaint hotel in a quiet Village close to Oxford. Staff were friend and helpful the room we had was amazing! (The deluxe suite called the Oak room) perfect for a luxury one night stay. We had dinner in the evening and the service was good and the quality of the food was more than acceptable- definitely recommend if in the area.

Excellent stay at this hotel. Food was so good ate here 2 out of our 3 night stay. Room was lovely & was not above the pub . Negative is need to deal with soundproofing although our guests were quiet people too so slept well.
