I try checking in on sunday. But the office lady was not in. I got there a bit late about 10pm. The number i call 931-982-2259 and 843-538-2280 posted at the door. she said there was no more room availible. But i reserved it few days prior for 7day stay and paid in advance. So I don't understand how i lost my reservation. I also called 347-752-4172 their help center to see whats going on with my reservation and get refund since the office lady said there were no room availible even though I paid in advance. I never got my full refund since it was not me that cancelled the reservation, I should have got full refund. Still waiting on my full refund
Made this reservation through Expedia and paid full amount at time of reservation. The office was dark and locked when I arrived. There was a hand written note on the door stashing there was no vacancy (misspelled). I called OYO and spoke to a representative who put me on hold while they tried to call a local property owner. They could not reach anyone. When they came back on the line with me they apologized for my situation and promised to “escalate” to the management. I called Expedia and they said much the same promising to pursue a refund. I eventually received an email that said that even though OYO (the chain) was saying I should get a refund the property owner was not providing a refund. While I was waiting at the hotel a second traveler arrived and was in the same situation.
I had booked the reservation paid to stay and was told by the manager no room you need to leave. Very bad people there. When I tried to explain that I already paid for the room he goes not my problem you need to leave now. So now I’m fighting to try and get a refund since they didn’t let us stay and rudely told us to leave and turned around and walked away from us. I’ll never ever book again for them whatsoever!!!!!!
As the old adage goes….Dont judge a book by its cover…well with this being my first visit to this property after have driven past it countless times, I had thought for sure I would be disgusted with the rooms themselves. Yet once I opened the door to my room I was beyond taken back….it was extremely clean, up to date, well lit, stocked with clean towels and sheets. And was quiet as a church in there.
