It was just an overnight stop on our way home. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Hot breakfast was typical - eggs, sausage, waffles - no complaints.

Wasn't informed the property was under renovation. The entire place was being painted. Heavy smell of paint in several rooms. This property needs updating. Staff was very accommodating upon arrival and informed us us paint smells. They showed us several rooms until one didn't smell so strong of paint. Very nice .

Needed one more glance of clean up

On the way to Florida we like to stop in this area. We realize it was a quick trip and only needed a place to sleep. The motel was nice, but rooms were being updated which is great. But our renovated room had dry wall dust all around the doors, it smelled of fish and we found a contractor/cleaning staff's coffee cup on the night stand. Just a few details and it would have been fine. We both woke up super congested.
