AVOID

I’m genuinely puzzled by the high ratings this hotel has received. Our experience was far from comfortable. The room had an overpowering smell of must and cigarette smoke, despite being a non-smoking room, which triggered skin sensitivities for both of us. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillowcases felt unclean, and one of the towels had a large yellow stain. Additionally, the shower floor was marked by mouldy grout. Overall, cleanliness was lacking. The check-in process was confusing and unsettling. A staff member informed us we were already listed as checked in, which raised concerns about security and organisation. On a positive note, the location is convenient, the area was quiet, and the hairdryer provided was of good quality. We also appreciated the owner taking the time to hose leaves off our car. Unfortunately, these few positives didn’t outweigh the discomfort and hygiene issues we encountered during our stay.

We were a young family travelling and expected a more caravan park style accommodation given the photos. There is no pool, terrible lighting to see where you are going at night, the open stairway on the outside of the property to the family room upstairs was sticky from what we think is sap from the tree and the overall feel of the accommodation is dirty and uncomfortable. Whilst the room appeared to be clean it was hard to tell from the bad lighting, and there were some cobwebs above the beds. Would not recommend for anyone travelling with kids.

Basic motel for travelers

Very basic hotel with lots of wear and tear, small room with basic equipment. The room was functional and thankfully the staff provided a heater and aircon. Free parking. Staff not present for check in and took several attempts to contact them. Finally got to the room. Advance contact would be recommended

We got one of the worst rooms for our 1 night stay. Bathroom door was broken, wash basin tap was broken and to top it all up we found a live spider on our bed. Would not book this place again even if it is budget friendly.
