We had a two night stay. The hotel could do with some revamping, as some areas were looking a bit tired. The staff were really pleasant and helpful, and seemed to like working there. A great breakfast menu with food cooked to order, which was excellent. Dinner very good and served by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Our room was basic but comfortable and clean.

Another great stay at the Bear, lovely hotel and staff. Friendly locals in the Bar, Rooms are great, breakfast is lovely. Wantage is a lovely place to be.
