Was kept awake by loud guests also I found a renting kill pest control container under the bed which my 3 year old daughter found it’s lucky I grabbed it out of her hand otherwise she would of been in a lot of trouble if she put her fingers in her mouth.

Good value stay
Comfortable large room. Decor looking a bit aged now but perfectly acceptable. Massive plus was the bar and restaurant where we had a very good evening meal at reasonable cost and great service. Breakfast was average. We will use this hotel again

The hotel had the strongest smell of drugs and tobacco coins from the first floor of rooms. We couldn’t sleep because of the smell. When addressed with the staff they said it came from outside, but the hotel was isolated location and clearly it was in the hotel.

Pub next door is a major plus. Property appears to have formerly been a premier inn and is a little in need of a lick of paint but was comfortable. Room was quite hot but a fan was available

Desperately needs a total makeover
Hotel and rooms feel stale and in desperate need of an update, it would be unfair to say it wasn’t clean but it didn’t feel it, the bath has black mold and the shower had poor pressure.
