This was not my first stay at this hotel, but after my most recent visit, I am truly appalled. It all began with a false fire alarm, not caused by any real fire hazard, but by a malfunction in the fire protection system. As a result, from 2:00 a.m. until 4:30 a.m., we were forced to wait outside the hotel. I lost a night’s sleep, was left completely exhausted, and received neither an apology nor any form of compensation. Of course, the fire brigade arrived on site, but the issue turned out to be purely technical. In the middle of the night, the hotel manager was called in, trying to disable the alarm, but there were major problems. Ultimately, due to a technical failure, I spent half the night standing outside in the cold. The final straw, however, was the last incident. At check-in, my card was charged an incorrect amount — higher than what I was supposed to pay. I noticed this in my room and went back to reception to report the problem. The staff member assured me that the authorization would be released and I would simply pay again. Yet, the block was never lifted, and during the night shift, the staff charged me again, placing another hold on my card. I raised the issue once more at check-out, and I was promised that all holds would be released immediately. Seven days have now passed, and my funds are still frozen. Yesterday, I wrote an email to the hotel staff asking for action, but I have received no response whatsoever. I am extremely disappointed with my most rece

Great hotel

Great hotel, very stylish and staff were friendly and really helpful. Big room, big comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Very good location, 10 mins on tram to centre of town from tram stop outside or a short walk and then 10 minute tram to the old town

Great hotel with forward thinking design. The staff needs to be completely replaced as they are mainly you gstwrs with no customer service experience. Either they have been poorly trained or there is a shortage of staff in the area. I really liked the hotel for its design on pair with PURO hotels. However no kettle in the room or tea options in the room forces you to go downstairs. There for 50zl you can get two teas. This is a joke even for more premium brands which ROXY (Marriot in disguise) pretends to be. Also internet was too slow for the era we live in. The gym needs dumbbells.
