Cute hotel, modern esque but could use some slight updating. Otherwise really functioning, maintained really well! Clean, great shower and shower options ie body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Great area - really cute and walkable!

Great location for the main sights of Washington. All walkable - 1 - 2 miles. AirCon played up a couple of times, which we see from reviews is recurring. Expensive to park at hotel - much cheaper options within a few mins walk.

Check in was good. Staff was polite and helpful. The room was clean, but the walls are very thin and you could hear everything. Additionally, when I turned the air on all it did was pump hot air out.

So the property looks nice and the photos online. But when in person you can see it's a cheap and Hasty renovation. The windows leaked air, the door separating our room from the other room had a broken lock on it, no trash bags and the heating and air conditioning system could only be one or the other. Other than that the place was decent nicely priced good area and was clean in the beds were comfortable and the staff was nice.

The room was clean and staff were friendly. Location decent. But the room was small and outlets were not in convenient locations. Also, there was not really a place to sit and do work. There was a chair and just like a ledge under the big TV, so if you sat there, the screen is inches from your face. But what upset me most was there was no AC when it was 80 degrees. We were told it had been turned off for the season when the lobby had AC! In a day and age when weather is so all over the place, you need to be able to offer AC whenever it's needed!

When we arrived they explained that they were switching from AC to heat and that we had neither. We left the AC fan on and it helped a little bit (no AC)when we returned from being out all day they had turned the heat on and it was 86° in our room!!! Yuck!! We were able to open a window about 2 inches to help.

The weather outside was up to 8283°, the air conditioning didn't work the entire 5 days I was at the hotel the in room refrigerator didn't work and the sink was stopped up and when I told the front desk about these items they said they had turned the air conditioning off. Definitely not a five star

It's a small thing, but I liked the flags in the window representing the nationalities of the staff. Service was good. We spilled some metamucil in the sink, which is hard to get off, but she worked at it and pretty much got it. It is too bad there was not a room for breakfast. We finally thought to go to a nearby hotel's dining room, but not before walking extensively looking for a restaurant that was open that early.

A great place to stay! Location is perfect for going to a show at the Kennedy Center, and every other highlight of D.C. is also nearby. Many restaurants and attractions are within walking distance. Metro is also convenient. Room was clean and had a nice view of city.
