A cool hotel!
Room was clean. There was a fridge but no microwave. That was disappointing. It was not a cheap visit and all rooms sound have hotels. The front desk staff was great though! Decent stay!

Location is excellent. Having 2 buildings unattached was a little difficult for our wedding party. The hotel itself could use some renovation. Interior painting would help. Our bath was old, looked in serious need of replacement. Commode was low to ground and more modern and higher one is needed. Breakfast was fair at best. Wife found the mattress too hard. Staff was cordial and helpful. Greatest asset is its location near the Capitol, the Metro, Eastern Market, yet on a fairly quiet street.

My home away from home in DC
Some rooms are better than others. This room was better than the last time I stayed. More places to plug in electronics than the last visit. The staff is always very nice and accommodating.
