The hotel itself was nice, clean, and modern. Check in and check out were super quick and easy. I didn’t use the gym but they did have one. The room was clean and had nice finishes. The lights, TV, temperature, and shades were all controlled by an iPad in the room. However, the temperature didn’t seem to change no matter what temperature I set it at. It was a bit chilly for my preference and even when I set the temperature to 78° it didn’t change. Also, the water pressure was pretty abysmal in both the shower and the sink, and the conditioner was really runny and chunky. I chose this hotel for its proximity to the National Mall and the metro, and would probably stay here again but would be wary of the temperature and water pressure.

Staff is really nice. Only complaint is the rooms are so so small. Definitely not for extended stays. There is not a refrigerator or small cooler. I loved the bed and shower though. Overall, I would stay again. The courteous front desk employees made a difference.

The good: Modern hotel that thoughtfully uses the most of small spaces. The bad: Rooms are best for singles or couples, not families. They mention having a fridge in room, but it is only a cooler.

Layout of the room was not appealing. Very small. Bed was comfortable but one side was up against the window wall making it difficult for the person sleeping on that side to get out of bed. Bizarre decor including a pillow with an expletive on it. Inappropriate video in the elevator. So while it gets a five in most categories the things mentioned here would keep us from staying there again.
