The proximity to all the metros, restaurants and the Nationals Ball park. There was a grocery store a hop skip and a jump from the hotel. The staff was very considerate and helpful.

For the rates that we paid, the rooms were strictly basic. The service at the reception was non-existent. One of the persons at the front desk was so unengaged that it felt like we were imposing on her even when we had a simple question.

The representative that checked us in was fantastic. She was so pleasant and nice for a 1 am arrival. My only gripe is on the breakfast. It's not your traditional continental like it is at most Courtyard's. They have a cafe in the lobby and, unless you ask directly, there's no indication on what is included in the breakfast for your room. We thought we were ordering the right things but ended up paying thirty dollars for two coffees and two yogurts. The guy behind us ended up asking directly and she told him specifically what we could order. It was so dumb. Either they need a sign or offer the information at check-in. Definitely not my favorite Courtyard stay.

Hotel was great but the parking was terrible. Paid $55 a night for the garage and most nights there was no where to park and the attendant was not helpful. Would never paid to park there in the future.

Check in was terrible; they couldn't find confirmation from hotels.com despite me showing the reservation on my app...ended up being late for a dinner reservation. shower only had Luke warm water. at least breakfast could have been comped.and I didn't even realize that my cash points were being use for the reservation. I would have reserved those points for a different property.

Parking garage was tight and very few spots. Lots of trash and very unkept. Hotel staff was not friendly or helpful with check-in or problems getting out of the garage. Had to wait multiple times and go back to lobby to get cleared to leave. To top it off there was a shooting a block away or first night. Not safe
