Saw a rat on the way in. Hotel was dingie and old. Carpets were dark and dinggie. Towels were tiny and when we asked for new towels, they ignored our request. At least bed may have been clean, but who knows. Good location, near subway, but definitely not worth the price.

We arrived at 10 pm and could not find the hotel. The awning in the picture wasn't there to indicate the hotel. All we see was 4400 Connecticut neon sign. The cleaner building next door has a better sign than the hotel. At the check-in desk, the clerk was speaking in foreign language while check us in and I thought he was spoking to someone in the back room until I noticed the ear pod. I learned that the parking is $25 a night which was not disclose on Expedia. Our room was on the fourth floor. The rug in the hallway was very old and look dirty, the same with brown rug in our bedroom - old and dirty. I have sensitive skin and right away feel the itch after talking off my shoes. The ice machine is not working and a note says to go down to the second floor. It's a older property that needs to be updated and remodeled. Luckily, we only stayed there for one night.

Although you had to pay for parking - it was still very available and I used it twice when my sister came to visit and when my daughter came to visit. It was well situated with an Italian restaurant next door which was fantastic.

Horrible, disgusting, small very bad, all the rooms are non-smoking and smells like ten people are smoking at the same time, k paid for tow night and when I go up and see my room very ugly, smelly and the bathroom horrible I tell the front desk that I want to cancel my check in and he decided to change the room but it was worse and at the end i have to stay one night because they don’t want to cancel but first one of them kick me out of the room because I told them that I want to cancel and I wan out calling Expedia and they didn’t want to refund the money for me leave the hotel because they say I was there one hour already, that’s and everything was very bad and unconscionable and dirty and scary, that’s why I wanted, I don’t want to go because i didn’t have another hotel, and I drove 6 hours that day to go there, I don’t really want to give bad reviews but I don’t want other people going through that kind experience like I did

The internet was down during my whole one-night stay which I know was out of their control, but I was surprised it took so long to be resolved. I'm not sure if it was related, but my TV also didn't work. The room could have been cleaner - there was a handprint on the headboard and lots of hair on the floor and sink in the bathroom.
