I was there for a fencing tournament. It’s a beautiful place but price gouging for sure. I paid for one night what in the past was for 2 nights. I will consider one of the more affordable properties near the resort next time. It’s a beautiful place but I am unhappy with the gouging.

The only thing I did not like about my stay was the cost of the resort parking. It would have been a lot cheaper to park across the street from the hotel.

Not a high end experience as expected

During the holiday season and our 23rd anniversary, the Gaylord seemed like a a nice place to celebrate. Although the environment in the room was very clean the atrium was loud due to many events going on for the New Year’s festivities so sometimes it was difficult to sleep. The major problem is that I did not receive a king size bed that I requested in the room and had to settle for two queens. Imagine two queen beds for your anniversary. Parking was $50 per night, they charged an accidental $733 dollars onto my account and explained that the charge would not be released until my bank cleared the transaction. I feel that we should have been compensated due to an employee error. The overall experience did not feel high end to me at all.
