This hotel was lovely and in a great location to explore Washington DC either via walking or subway. The room was larger than expected and the staff friendly and polite. The breakfast had a great selection which changed daily and the area to sit was clean and checked regularly. Helpful having some snacks available to purchase too was very handy.

One block from Metro.
Parking is best if use Valet. Experienced drivers. Garage close. No refrigerators in any of the rooms was missing for me. Smithsonian very close. Easier to walk than take metro. Can also use app. Breakfast kept Hampton Inn high standard. Breakfast area nice and comfortable. Room comfortable and quiet.

The hotel staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and the hotel was very convenient to visit the museums and monuments. We parked and was able to walk to pretty much everything we did.My daughter enjoyed the fresh cookies in the lobby the first night.

Random charges. 1: Initially charged twice for hotel room (got it back) 2: Randomly charged 79$ for some reason. Haven’t got it back or know why. Also, shower curtain bar fell on girlfriends forehead as she was getting out the shower. Shower should have a sliding door based off the design. One elevator worked for an 11 floor hotel. Kinda ridiculous.

Hampton was a Hoot
This hotel couldn't be better located for a Washington tourist stay. Compact, but contemporary, clean and with friendly staff. Rooms lovely, bathroom even better. Breakfast was decent, both hot or cold options. Staff so friendly and helpful. So glad we picked this place! Recommended.

The room had an independent AC unit within the room on the floor. It was too loud and even vibrates every few minutes. As a result I couldn’t sleep the whole night. When I put it on the quiet mode it didn’t cool the room and it was so uncomfortable.
