I liked the location of the hotel as far as convenience to walking to the National Mall and all that it contains. We were very close to the Metro for going farther away. Our first room had a bad smell in the shower, but the hotel moved us to another room quickly. They were excellent. The area is a little noisy, but not awful. The breakfast was good, but slightly expensive. There were not many restaurants in the area with in close walking distance. Definitely not good breakfast and good dinner restaurants.

My family and I visited the Bible Museum which is around the corner from this hotel. The hotel is nice and clean. It was pricey and they did not give any discounts for military 😞. The staff is nice and helpful

The location of this hotel is perfect; close to museums and monuments we wanted to visit. Everything is walkable so parking was not an issue. The national mall is wonderful and lots of individuals and families were enjoying the area. The hotel itself is nice, but pricey. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Our room on the back side of the hotel was next to the rail tracks. Trains run from 5:00 a.m. until midnight during the week and until 1:00 a.m. on FRI, SAT and SUN. Our white noise maker did not drown out the train whistles or track rumbling, so sleep was disrupted for three days. The tub's faucet leaked continuously, but we did not ask for maintenance to fix it. The hotel is surprisingly quiet for how large it is. Breakfast is not complimentary, but the pool and gym are accessible with a room key. We had a parking "package," so that was not an extra expense. There's a Starbucks located within the larger building and that was nice. I don't know that we would stay here again, but the location really is great for walking to many museums and places of interest to visit while in the area.

Super close to the National Mall it's a short walk to a bunch of museums and other attractions. 30 minute walk to Union Station to the north and about the same if heading south to the Wharf.

Wonderful experience! My son and I enjoyed everything. The hotel was only a 5 min walk from the Air and Space Museum and 10 min walk to the Spy Museum. The breakfast buffet was awesome and the staff were always friendly. Loved the easy access to taxis as well. Will definitely recommend and hopefully be back in the future! Thank you!

No microwave in room. Refrigerator not cold, chilly was all we got. But nothing spoiled. Train goes by 1 block away 24 hours. On an overpass so must blow horn. No restaurants in neighborhood. Mcdonalds on corner. People great, facilities clean. No soap in laundry room. groceries is 1 stop on metro. Near major hub of metro.

This hotel was perfect for us. We were able to walk to all of the major monuments and museums. It is 5 minutes from the air and space museum and the Bible museum. It is 8-10 minutes from the national mall. The hotel was very clean. The beds were fairly comfortable. The staff was always very helpful and nice. There was a small area for kids to play. If we go back to DC, this will be our hotel of choice.

The location is perfect, only 15 minute walk to the Smithsonian museums, and 20-25 minutes to most of the memorials. The hotel is a bit dated, peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, holes in the carpet; but the staff are amazing! The restaurants- one for breakfast and one for lunch/dinner were excellent.

Everything was good. Check in was easy. Restaurant at the hotel was good and reasonably priced. The room that we stayed in was a bit cramped due to a large desk structure that we didn’t need at all. I also read about a “pillow menu” that was no longer occurring.

Evrything was good ; the room was clean; staff was friendly; however the room was not sound proofed and we could here cars outside - there was a semi truck parked outside the whole night and we could hear the motor running; on the last night it rained and even the raindrops on the rooftop was heard so we really didn’t get good quality sleep.
