For family, the bathroom is located inside the bedroom, so you will need to share with the kid. My teen kid preferred to sleep in a real bed, but booking with this app, to change the room type, we had to call the support. The support told us we were not able to change the room type. Breakfast area is nice. For weekdays, it ends at 9am. We are from West Coast, That means it's our 6am. Wish they can extend the hours. Metro entrance is very close, just cross the street.

My recent stay at this hotel was disappointing, primarily due to the valet service. The valet parking is significantly overpriced, and the service was horrendous. Each time I called for my car, I had to wait 45 minutes, which is completely unacceptable. The valet workers had no sense of urgency, and to top it off, one night my car came back smelling like weed. This is unprofessional and concerning. Additionally, there were no luggage carts in the lobby, forcing me to use a wheelchair to bring my bags to my room. This lack of basic amenities was frustrating and inconvenient. The food at breakfast, although free, was subpar at best. The quality needs serious improvement. I suggest the hotel consult with a breakfast specialist to elevate the experience for guests. On a positive note, the hotel is in a great location, surrounded by restaurants and entertainment. The room price was reasonable, and if it weren't for the valet service and the lack of luggage carts, I would consider staying here again. However, these issues significantly impacted my stay.

Good hotel but environmentally horrible!
Room was nice and spacious (suite w/ 2 queen bed and sofa bed) but as we were travelling with 3 kids, we needed to use the sofa bed. I tried sleeping on it the first night and was almost reduced to tears because it was so uncomfortable. My 6 year old son ended up sleeping in it ok, but adults beware! Pool is ok but cold and very small. Breakfast was only served until 9 on weekdays which meant a bit of a rush in the morning but it was really the amount of waste that shocked me. Disposable everything and so much individually wrapped stuff. Yuk. Neighbourhood was really nice but very much geared towards the young professional. Eating out was expensive and fancy for kids. Metro just across the street which was really great though. Would recommend for business travellers or if you’re there to see the baseball…it’s one block from the hotel and you can see into the stadium from the roof terrace!

This was a nice place for the price especially in DC where every hotel is costly. They only offer valet parking is available for $58 a day which was great. The valet guys were great and i wish i could remember their names. Checking in was quick and easy and the free morning breakfast was excellent. The pool was kinda small but we never did use it. The rooftop terrace had great views, although i don't recommend the rooftop at night as it has very large bugs that come out at night and chase you, OMG I ran back inside never to return to the rooftop as I'm not down with bugs that will chase me. However the hotel must keep some sort of repellent in use as the rooftop is the only place I saw them bugs, and to me its almost expected to see such things in a city such as DC.

We arrived and everything looked great. After check-in we went out for sightseeing and dinner. We got home late and when we went to take a shower water started coming through the roof from the shower above us. I understand things happen but once I called the desk and they sent someone up it took a long time to get moved to another room. We were exhausted after a long day and once they did finally move us they came up with keys handed them to us and rushed us to the new room. They didn’t offer to help us move luggage or even bring a cart to use.

We stayed at this hotel on our trip to see the Washington Nationals. The location is PERFECT. Easy walking distance from the train and less than a block away from the stadium! The near by streets are full of restaurants, shops and bars. The location is not the quietest, but this can be expected if you are staying within a block from a Baseball Stadium. We ate at a delicious Puerto Rican restaurant close by which we loved. The streets seemed very clean and safe and had all kinds of great things to see within walking distance. The rooms are clean and quite big. They have a full kitchen which was useful. It was a great experience in Washington!

Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable. The suites gave our family the freedom to eat in. The location is 3 minutes walk from the metro station. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

The only issue we had was that we stayed from Wednesday to Sunday morning, and housekeeping did not come until Friday night when we were all already back. By then, we were all exhausted from being out all day so it was pointless to leave the hotel again. We assumed they would come by Saturday, but they didn’t. They only attempted to clean one night. Other than that, the staff was amazing, great breakfast selection, comfortable beds and the rooms were spectacular. When we travel again, we will definitely stay at a Homewood Suites if possible!
