Great cozy hotel in the heart of Alexandria! Every major site/restaurant is within walking distance, which we love! I’d rather stay here than at the MGM across the river.

Great overnight stay. Comfortable room. Slight hiccup with the valet, but front desk staff was very helpful. Right in the middle of Old Town. Enjoyed the Francis Hall bar.

There were a lot of dining options nearby. I did not get a chance to try them but I did appreciate they were nearby. The staff were great and were life savers. Especially the hostess that worked the evening shift. She helped show us to our room when we had trouble riding the elevator and provided us with plates and silverwear when we did not have any for our food we brought to the hotel. It was an amazing experience and would definitely like to go there again

Be aware I stayed for two nights and the security hold was $270, I only receive $200 back due to amenity fees. The hotel was beautiful and a great location. I will say it was loud with street traffic and sirens, no problem if you’re an early riser! Staff was very kind and welcoming, room was spotless, beautiful, up to date and honestly the bathroom was stunning!

Exceptional Stay!!

Beautiful hotel, and exceptional staff! Had the pleasure of experiencing and an overall exquisite stay; from the initial valet parking, to check-in, to making it to our room. The ease was GREATLY appreciated after a full morning of travel. The guest room was quite literally perfect - extremely clean and cozy and I liked the personalized touch of the smart tv greeting me. All of my interactions with the desk staff, housekeeping and valet were nothing but pleasant and overly accommodating. This truly the most ideal stay I could imagine, thank you Hotel Heron!
