If you want an easy walk to the "mall" (momuments and rows of museums), it was less than a half mile walk.

Overall, our stay was good. The hotel was clean, cozy, and the staff was very friendly. However, the biggest issue was the parking. There is absolutely nowhere to stop, even for a moment, to unload luggage—not even on the side of the road. The entrance to the hotel is very small, making it difficult to pull in. Also, the reception is located on the third floor, which can be confusing. There is a paid parking option, but the price is extremely high for hotel guests—over $55 per day, which seems a bit excessive. While everything else was nice, the parking situation was definitely a downside

Very pleasant for price

Very clean and incredibly convenient, safe location. Breakfast was more than adequate. My only gripe is that I called and spoke to a front desk agent about early check-in that morning, and I received it an email notification at 12 PM that it was available. However, when I arrived they required a $50 fee to do so (for 2 hours). Since it wasn't mentioned when I spoke to the agent it was a little disappointing to hear upon check-in, and seems excessive for 2 hours for a room that was already available.

Property was clean and in a safe area with easy walking distance to the National mall and a Metro stop. I wish there were a few more dining options nearby, which was the only real downside. The included breakfast was good and we liked the ability to park…wish the cost for parking was less though.

The hotel was clean and staff friendly and had many recommendations on where to eat and places to visit. They are based in an area where you can walk to almost any sight, which I did, and felt safe going out early in the morning and returning late at night. The in house restaurant The Placery for dinner was disappointing, especially for the prices. The service/bar tender was always on her cell phone, although she tried to hide it under the shoulder of her shirt. My food was alway cold when served and usually over cooked. There is no small gift shop or place to buy necessities and when I needed something for a headache I was sent to another hotel lobby to get buy some.

Our stay for one night was great and we will definitely keep this hotel in mind for future visits. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location very accessible to local monuments and museums, and just a 15 minute walk from the wharf area. Breakfast was very good also and the staff did a great job keeping everything clean and stocked.

Great location when visiting the capital and Bible

Visiting the Museum of the Bible. Hotel is very convenient to both the Museum as well as the Capital Mall. Clean and comfortable. Will stay here again!
