Got what I expected at a reasonable (for DC) price. A little noisy between rooms and outside but, again, that's not uncommon in DC hotels. If you have a noisemaker you'll be fine.

Hotel Madera is in the perfect location. Surrounded by restaurants and bars, this hotel is definitely my top pick. This hotel also has a restaurant on the 1st floor called Firefly… Great! Happy hour! The Chef is polite and relatable. Parking wasn’t too much of a problem. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to any one.

Over night trip

The stay was great for a quick overnight stay. Central location to restaurants and shopping also close to the Capitol one arena. The room did not have much lighting which made it difficult to do my makeup etc. I did have an additional ring light. Other then that the hotel was clean and the staff was extremely friendly

Good rooms, poor service.

At check in the front desk person gave us a vague and uncertain description of where we could park. It was like it was the first time she had been asked the question. She suggested a parking garage that turned out to be closed on weekends. We ended up having to go to three different ones before finding one open on weekends. It was a very frustrating experience. On our last morning we noticed our in-room black tea hadn’t been replenished. We called the front desk to ask for some. Half an hour later someone brought green tea. Then the front desk called and said they had run out of black tea. If you are going to charge a daily resort fee with in-room tea and coffee as one of the items the resort fee covers, then if you run out of tea I expect that someone runs down to the corner store to buy some.
