Everything was excellent! I want to now be part of the Sonesta Family when visiting places, especially when returning to DC. Although the menu and guide tabs were not working on the tv remote control and the room smelled a little stale when I first entered, these are easy fixes that were outshined by the service, professionalism, and friendliness of staff. Does Royal Sonesta have Rewards program and opportunities to become a member? Also, the food, even though expensive, was DELICIOUS!!!

Friendly staff- excellent room. Downfall- the “resort fee” is not what I would consider a fee to charge- this want a resort in my mind! Had a pool and gym just like what I would expect at a hotel like this should have.

It is a beautiful city, and we love traveling there to catch up with family/friends. Very scary at times with so many ICE Agents/DEA Agents /National Guards/ standing around in the areas that we have always considered safe and free. It made us feel like we were visiting a city in a communist country. The White House, once beautiful, looked like a resort with accessible nightlife, a brothel accessible entrance for the rich and famous.

This hotel is in an excellent location with easy access to the metro and a wonderful hotel staff. The hotel restaurant is excellent as well. My room was large and spacious. I highly recommend this hotel.

Modern room in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay, including the DuPont Circle Farmers Market on Saturday, which was well worth a look!
